We built FixedQRCode because the QR-code internet is broken. Most "free" generators are tracking funnels that quietly expire the QR codes people print on packaging, menus, and signs.

The problem with dynamic QR codes

A dynamic QR code points at a short URL on a third-party domain. When you scan it, the short URL redirects to your real destination. That gives the provider an opportunity to track every scan — and a single point of failure for every printed code in the wild. When the provider shuts down or changes plans, the QR breaks. There is no way to update millions of stickers, signs, and printed cards once they're out in the world.

Our promise

Every QR code generated on FixedQRCode is a true static QR. The data is encoded directly into the pattern, with no redirect domain in the path. Your QR doesn't depend on us — once you download it, it works forever, on any standards-compliant scanner, even offline.

What we don't do

• No accounts or sign-ups.
• No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics.
• No watermarks, no scan limits, no "upgrade to premium".
• No persistence of the content you encode.

Why "fixed"?

Fixed as in static. Fixed as in never broken. Fixed as in: the QR code you print today will scan in 10 years.
