Summary

FixedQRCode is a free QR code generator. We don't require accounts, we don't set tracking cookies, we don't sell data, and we don't keep your generated codes after we send them to you.

What we collect

We don't collect personally identifiable information. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived, anonymized request logs (IP address, user-agent, status code) for abuse prevention, debugging, and uptime monitoring, in line with standard web infrastructure practices. These logs are not used for profiling or advertising.

How QR codes are generated

When you fill in a generator form, your browser sends the encoded content to our /api/qr endpoint. The server renders a PNG or SVG image of the QR code and streams it back to your browser. The request is not persisted — we don't write the encoded text to a database, we don't keep the image, and no account is associated with the request.

What the QR code itself contains

Every QR code we generate is static — the URL, WiFi credential, vCard, mailto, or tel link is encoded directly into the pattern. There is no redirect domain, no tracking parameter, no shortener. Once you download the image, the QR is fully self-contained and works without contacting FixedQRCode again, even offline.

Cookies

FixedQRCode does not set tracking cookies. We use no third-party analytics on this site.

Advertising

If we display ads in the future via a third-party network (e.g. Google AdSense), that network may set its own cookies subject to its own privacy policy. Any ad slots on this site are clearly labeled as advertising placeholders today.
